About Disney Adventure
The Disney Adventure is a cruise ship operated by Disney Cruise Line. It represents a major milestone for the fleet as the first Disney vessel homeported in Asia, operating dedicated voyages out of Singapore under a long-term collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board.
History and Origins
The ship was originally commissioned and partially constructed under the name Global Dream for Dream Cruises, a subsidiary of Genting Hong Kong. Following Genting's financial insolvency in 2022, The Walt Disney Company acquired the unfinished vessel. Walt Disney Imagineering extensively redesigned the ship to infuse it with classic Disney themes, characters, and entertainment concepts prior to its debut.
